Grand Nagus Zek. Leader of Ferenginar. Currently involved with Ishka who secretly advices him on financial issues, even though women are prohibited from any kind of economic transactions. (Culture) During a brief instability brought on by a visit with the Prophets, Zek re-wrote the Rules of Acquisition. (The Rules Of Acquisition) |
Quark. The son of Ishka and sucessfull entrepreneur. Quark is the proprietor of "Quark's", which is situated on the Promanade of space-station Deep Space Nine. Quark is known to be both screwd and skillful in the art of profit-making. He has a fierce love of latinum and beautiful women. More than once has he tried to convince his dabo-girls that they are required to preform sexual favours as a part of their duties in his bar. |
Rom. The second son of Ishka and engineer on DS9. Although Rom is in many ways an engineering genious, the fact that he apparently spends most of his time in a state of perpetual confusion leaves him working waste-extraction-duty most of the time. He is the proud father of Nog and is newly-wed to Bajoran national and dabo-girl Leeta. |
Nog. Son of Rom and starfleet operations ensign. Allthough Nog is the son of Rom he has not inherited his father's confusion. Extremely sharp-minded he takes after his uncle, Quark. Nog was the first-ever Ferengi to enter starfleet since Ferenginar is not a member of the Federation of Planets. His greatest rolemodels are the Klingon tactical officer Worf and chief engineer Miles O'Brien. |
